Building Better A book by Mark Newman

Chapter 14

Your chapter
is on its way.

Who’s Holding the Broom — the pre-release chapter of Building Better, before the book is out.

It is going to your inbox now. It is a short read.

If it doesn’t reach you, check your junk folder first, then write to academy@newmark.com.au and I’ll send the file myself.

One question

Who’s holding the broom in your business?

Not the crew. The person who still does the thing you’d rather not be doing yourself, because explaining it takes longer than doing it. You’ll know the one.

You don’t have to answer me now — the next email is about it. But if the answer came to you straight away, I’d like to hear it: academy@newmark.com.au.

What happens next

  1. Nothing for a few days. Read it when you have twenty quiet minutes, not while you’re driving.
  2. Then one short email from me about the question above, and how it played out in my own business.
  3. Over the month that follows, a handful of emails about the room the chapter can’t give you: who it’s for, how it works, and what it costs. Then it goes quiet unless a group is forming.

If you already know it’s the room you want rather than the book, you don’t have to wait for the emails:
